Asbestos Testing

How do you know if your property has asbestos?

The best way to know for sure is to schedule asbestos testing ASAP. Asbestos testing involves inspecting every area of your home or commercial property in order to determine your needs and ensure your safety.

Phase I ESAs

ESE provides lender approved ASTM-E1527-13 and similar Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and related transaction screens which are often required when a property is externally financed. The purpose of a Phase I ESA is to identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) associated with a parcel of commercial real estate with respect to the range of contamination within the scope of CERCLA and petroleum products.

Phase II ESAs

In the event a Phase I assessment concludes that an environmental liability may exist, we often are retained to implement a Phase II investigation to confirm or deny the presence of a potential contaminant. A Phase II investigation typically includes sampling of soil and groundwater, chemical analysis of the samples, data evaluation, and sometimes, conceptual site modeling.

Natural Resources

ESE performs environmental assessments required to be conducted and documented in accordance with the federal standards of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Documentation [40 CFR Chapter V (Part 1500-1518)]. Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, and Qualitative Risk Assessments have been conducted by ESE for transportation rights-of way, pipeline corridors, power transmission easements, waterways, and other “sensitive” environments.
